"Where You Get More Buck for your Bang"

Hello, my name is Brad Day, founder, operator and owner of Sportsman's Pride Taxidermy.

I grew up in a small farming community in central Missouri where hunting and sports was considered everyone's favorite pastime.

I now live in St. Charles, Missouri, where I am a full-time fireman and married with 4 girls.  I do my taxidermy on my days off from the fire department.

I hunted small game throughout my younger years.  I finally got my first deer hunting experience at the age of 14, when my brother let me sit on a big round bale of hay.

I harvested my first buck 2 years later when I was 16.  This was the real beginning of my hunting desires.  Still to this day, I enjoy small game, deer, and turkey hunting.

My taxidermy life began in 2003 when I started experimenting with small game.  The excitement continued into larger game quickly.  I decided to take a taxidermy class in August of 2004 at Missouri Taxidermy Institute.  This was a month long class, when in that time I mounted a pheasant, mallard, deer, walleye, bass, and fox.  The experience was a once in a lifetime for me.  I have taken the info from the class and continued to grow my knowledge of superior taxidermy.

It is my goal to provide my clients with the highest quality taxidermy service available.  My mounts reflect a personal and professional philosophy of using only the finest quality materials and craftsmanship.  If you desire superior quality taxidermy, I would appreciate the opportunity to preserve your trophy of a lifetime for a lifetime.

Brad Day
